The final HKKMS monthly meeting in 2012 will be held on Wednesday 12th\u00a0December starting at 7.00pm. \u00a0As it will be our end-of-year meeting , we\u00a0will be offering canap\u00e9s, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.<\/p>\n

There will be plenty of time for networking and we will have a special
\nguest, John Bordeaux, \u00a0from Washington , USA \u00a0( Bio follows).<\/p>\n

John Bordeaux<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"John<\/a><\/td>\nJohn Bordeaux – Associate Partner – Strategy & Innovation at IBM Global Business Services<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

John has been engaged in public sector consulting and technology firms for
\nover 20 years , exploring new models for public sector leadership, reaching
\ninto complexity and natural systems science for insight and ideas. His work
\nrecent experience is as follows;<\/p>\n

* For IBM, part of global team developing and providing solutions in the
\nareas of Social Business and Open Government. (2012-present)<\/p>\n

* For IBM\u00a0(2010-2012<\/a>), developed integrated offerings in the areas of social
\nmedia, data strategies, knowledge management and innovation<\/p>\n

* For SRA, developed and led a center of excellence in Knowledge Management;
\nwith awards totaling $60M over 7 years, and featuring 22 practitioners at
\nits height. While leading this practice, John provided thought leadership
\nfor clients including HHS, DIA, MDA, VA OCIS, USN\/NPDC, and DoD’s ASD\/NII,\u00a0where he was instrumental in developing the DoD’s Information Sharing\u00a0Strategy.<\/p>\n

* For the Stupski Foundation, designed and led the Technology Program:
\ndeveloping a strategy and operating plan for both 1) a ‘Knowledge Platform’
\nfor innovators and 2) developing an education data strategy that extends to
\ncognitive, affective, and behavioral indicators.
\n* In 2008 served as Leader, Knowledge Management Working Group for the
\nProject on National Security Reform.<\/p>\n

John is a member of the Federal KM Working Group, Senior Advisor to the
\nO’Reilly Gov 2.0 Summit and Expo series, a peer reviewer for the Journal of
\nKnowledge Management (Emerald publishing), and an accredited practitioner in
\nthe Cognitive Edge methods. He has a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the School
\nof Public Policy at George Mason University, an M.S. in Information Systems
\nfrom the School of Information Technology and Engineering also at George
\nMason University, preceded by a B.S. in Governmental Administration from
