There is a wide range of areas where a KM practitioner can work. However, with diverse industries comes diverse skill sets, and so it is difficult to agree on a definitive set of skills and talents a KM practitioner should possess.<\/p>\n

In this event the\u00a0KMP group<\/a>\u00a0looks at KM careers and challenges by investigating what competencies are important for a KM practitioner and if a set of competencies can be developed. This event will start with a talk on\u00a0the development of a Knowledge Competency framework for the ISKO – Singapore chapter inaugural “Innovations in Knowledge Organisation” conference in 2015 and the subsequent development of the Knowledge Organisation Competency Survey. There will be a facilitated discussion on knowledge organisation competencies.<\/p>\n
