And they are knowledge workers \u2013 a new kind of work. Both growing demographics call for new ways to engage workers. Dr. Dixon will provide examples of how organizations like Cisco, Adobe, and even some government organizations are finding alternatives to the Bureaucratic model of top down control and formal rules. She has a particular interest in creating conversations that exploit the collective knowledge of an organization, particularly in the areas of intelligence, healthcare, and aid work in developing countries.
